Start here · Step 1

Create a Sandbox application

Create the application record that will own redirect URIs, identity access, OAuth credentials, consent records, webhooks, and usage.

Create the application

Sign in to UnifyID Developer and create a Sandbox application. Use a name that a person will recognize on the authorization screen, and describe the real purpose for requesting identity information.

  1. Choose your personal workspace or an approved organization workspace.
  2. Enter the application name and a plain-language description.
  3. Keep the environment set to Sandbox while integrating.
  4. Create the application, then copy its public client_id.

What the application owns

Redirect URIs, allowed identity access, credentials, team access, consent records, webhook endpoints, usage, and billing remain isolated to this application.

Do not reuse applications across unrelated products. Separate applications preserve pairwise subject identifiers, consent, credentials, usage, and operational ownership.

Before Production

Production requires complete website, support, privacy, and terms information, at least one active credential, a signed webhook endpoint, and any required review for restricted document access.
